Nina Fabunmi is a contemporary representational artist whose work explores identity, culture, and place through portraits, figures, landscapes, and cityscapes. Using expressive palette knife techniques alongside detailed brushwork, she creates emotionally resonant pieces that blend beauty and movement with social meaning.
Her artistic practice spans diverse media, including traditional painting, digital art, and user experience design. Fabunmi’s work has been exhibited internationally and is featured in prominent public spaces like the Golden State Warriors’ Chase Center and Salesforce Transit Center, reflecting her commitment to accessible, community-rooted art.
With an MFA and experience as a faculty member at the Academy of Art University, Fabunmi combines technical skill with poetic storytelling. She also authored Petals for My Tears, a book that complements her visual practice by weaving together words and images to deepen her exploration of human experience.
